Senja.....
I should probably just leave pictures for today.....but there are some words they don't paint.
Today was big hike day fuelled with big bowls of porridge and myself feeling notably better i got behind the big wheel and took the wiggles on to the start of our hike.
A whopping 2.7Km long tunnel was going to prove to be a bit of a blip on the day. The tunnels are tight and often one way with passing points. Some are painted white inside and brightly lit and others are darker than dark.....which to be fair we no longer know what that is. This one was daaaark and we met a a big bus coming the other way.
Trying to remember how far back the passing place was a question.....and in reverse gear you couldn't see anything never mind the curve of the tunnel. Rubbing is racing or in this case kronas!!! After a nudge I re found the centre and took us back to where the passing place was, driving and daytime mojo somewhat dented but zero to be done now.
That all simply blended into insignificance.....we chose to climb Heston in order to get the view of Segla and apart from some double windscreen wiper action required for bugs on the way down there is very little need for me to say more....
Finished with a little time to spare we got to our next ferry to yet again discover despite being in a ferry queue you dont always make it on the boat.........as I crumpled over the steering wheel losing the ability of decision making an emergency wrap was fed my way and after the usual fun spinning the chairs dinner was created in the ferry queue, all was right in the world again.
