How warm is it?

A lazy brunch and some active recovery.....ha ha...mainly to make the most of the weather and get back before the rain. Yesterday the sun came out and we were putting suncream on at 2030 and the temperature increased to 12C, today was a balmy 21C so deciding what to were is somewhat complicated as its daylight all the time, inside seems to be kept at a balmy 25C everywhere and outside well who knows.....

We took on our favourite thing the bridge.......to scale the hill that looms over Tromso and, oh look there it is the Arcric Cathedral!. Up we went with a spring in our step, 1/2 marathon has nothing on us.....  carefully counting the 1203 steps as we went..........in the cable car 😆

From here we did walk further up investigated the hut 🛖 , threw the obligatory snow ball, avoided the downhill mountain bikers and watched the landscape open up.

The sense of scale is hard to share, but looking down on Tromso a big city with 65,000 which compares to  Hamble at 6000 and southampton at 250 000

It still felt very small.

Rewarding ourselves with a beer and a waffle and burnt or Brun cheese and we were all a convert and wondering if we can get a waffle maker for the camper 

Finishing the day with sushi beer and bed pretty good wind down ahead of our vanning days.
